Straight Outta Philly, DJ Kwestion (Jedi Mind Tricks, Skratch Makaniks) has been deejaying since the young age of 12. He has produced tracks and provided cuts for Guru (Gangstarr), Talib Kweli, Ras Kass, Jedi Mind Tricks, Army Of The Pharoahs, Outerspace, Royce Da 5′9, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Bahamadia, Chops, Reef The Lost Cauze, Chief Kamachi & many others. Besides JMT, Kwest has performed live with, or opened up for Pete Rock, DJ Premier, Wu-Tang Clan, Redman, KRS- One, Rakim, Doug E Fresh, Prince Paul, Gangstarr, DJ Revolution, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Q-bert, Tony Touch, Mobb Deep, Boot Camp Click, Slum Village, Noreaga, and Xzibit. Eight (and counting) singles that Kwest has worked on charted in the top three on college radio across the country. Three of them charting at number one, “The Best”- Chief Kamachi/Guru which he produced, “Coming From The Lower Level” -Phil Tha Agony/Rass Kass/Talib Kweli, and “Retaliation”- Jedi Mind Tricks. Kwestion also recently won the Scion Free Up Your Mix 2006 competition in which his mixtape placed first in the Hip Hop category.
